BACH

In the organizer's words:

BACH is a trio founded in the summer of 2023 by Janek Vogler (drums, vocals), Thies Engel (bass, vocals) and Andrin Abrecht (electric guitar, piano), which musically lies somewhere between Muse and Radiohead, Queen and Red Hot Chili Peppers, between dreaming and dancing and reaching for the stars. The three got to know each other many years ago through the KIKA competition Dein Song, in which Janek and Thies were finalists, but have developed continuously since then and now mix elements of jazz and hard rock, catchy tunes, tricky instrumental parts, ballads and brutal
instrumental parts, ballads and brutal riffs. The lyrics are about falling in love and despair, delusions of grandeur, everyday worries and the end of the world. Their first single "Hurricane", a danceable rock song with a stormy middle section, was released on April 5, 2024, accompanied by concerts in Frankfurt, Offenbach and Cologne. Four more single releases are planned for this year.
