BackHausKonzert

The BackHaus Concerts take place on the second Thursday of every month. At 8:00 p.m., a wide variety of chamber music ensembles from Sinfonia Leipzig perform a program lasting about one hour in the atrium of the Lukas Bäcker branch on Augustusplatz. In the spirit of sustainability and well-being, Lukas Bäcker provides us with its unsold baked goods free of charge. So you can enjoy not only music but also culinary delights. 
To make classical music accessible to as many people as possible, we don’t want to set ticket prices based on seat categories, but rather on individual means. We leave it up to the audience to decide how much each person can or would like to pay for a ticket.
For people who cannot afford €10, we offer “Soli” tickets: someone buys a “Soli” ticket—and someone else can contact us via email (info@sinfonialeipzig.de) with a brief explanation of why they need the “Soli” ticket.
