Is it a coincidence that Beethoven's most famous piano concerto and his most famous symphony both bear the number 5? Jakub Hrůša and the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, which has paid special attention to the arrangement of works in their concerts since the beginning of their collaboration, thus revealing exciting parallels, juxtapose the two compositions: Sounds of fate here, heroic tones there. The soloist in the piano concerto is the young Austrian Lukas Sternath, who won seven special prizes in addition to first prize at the ARD Music Competition 2022.
