Barbara Butscher works as an actress, director and author. As an actress, she has appeared in solo and ensemble productions, including Gretchen im Kerker from Faust I, Warten auf Godot and Tor und Tod. As a director, she led the SPIELRAUM-Ensemble Ehrenfeld with productions of classical and contemporary plays as well as her own scene collages. Today she devotes most of her time to writing. In 2024, she published her book In diesem Augenblick with haiku-inspired short texts and prose miniatures. She is currently working on the autofictional Adventures of an Ordinary Life.

Sylvain Pesenti is a French musician, singer, guitarist and reciter. He has lived in Cologne since 2012 and creates programs at the interface of music and literature. His projects combine French and German culture across eras: from François Villon and Victor Hugo to Hans/Jean Arp. The focus is on themes such as identity, homeland and history as well as the joy of language and music.
