Bayoogie Masters - the masters of blues and boogie woogie on April 15 at Kupfersaal Leipzig
The piano and boogie woogie live music series "Bayoogie Masters" has been taking place in Leipzig since 2012. At each concert, pianist Christian Christl presents new, interesting "masters" of blues and boogie woogie on the piano.
For Monday, April 15, 2024, he has invited the twins Bastian and Benny Korn from Essen in the Ruhr area. Bastian Korn is a gifted pianist and singer and loves the rock'n roll of Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard. His brother Benny on drums ensures that the rhythm and groove are right.
Christian Christl will also take part in the piano action. He prefers "vintage blues & boogie piano", i.e. the early piano music from the pubs and dives of the 1920s and 1930s in New Orleans, Kansas City and Chicago.
It will be a brilliant evening in the Kupfersaal with lots of good handmade music on the piano.
