Wrinkles. Something to which we pay little attention - and yet which opens up a whole world. Something is folded back on itself, a process that gains complexity with every repetition, shifts, branches out, contradicts itself. Folds organize and confuse at the same time. They create spaces, allow light to refract and sound to tilt. Where complexity arises, it comes under pressure - the longing for smoothness and clarity can be observed particularly well here. The phrase "into the fold" evokes a return to the herd. Into the Fold folds and unfolds music, fabric, projections and story into a multi-layered experience. An evening about the pleasure of complexity. And about the courage not to be ironed out.
