In the middle of BERLIN GLOBAL stands a rusty vault door weighing tons. What does this two-meter tall object tell us about dispossession and persecution and why is it also a symbol of the party scene in Berlin in the 1990s? It is also worth taking a look up to the ceiling at the original lamps of the Palast der Republik: how did Berliners enjoy themselves here 40 years ago?
In 60 minutes, spin the "wheel of history", dance in the walk-in disco ball or discover the history of the place through the telescopes from the windows of the Humboldt Forum: The tour presents the historically and currently globally networked Berlin in a dialogical and interactive way.
