For exactly 70 years, what is probably the biggest music festival in the world has been thrilling fans all over the world. A few years ago it was ridiculed as antiquated, but for some years now the ESC has been celebrating a huge comeback.

For the Capitol veteran with the gentle voice, this contest has always been the musical highlight of the year. Bernd Nauwartat has been celebrating this day in the same way for years. He watches alone, the phone is set to silent, start lists with a rating system are ready and there is only food that doesn't make any noise when chewed.

It has been his biggest dream for a very long time to give a big ESC concert and now the time has finally come.
