The youth diary has to get out of the drawer and into the limelight! Because it has everything a good text needs: Heroes and anti-heroes, wild plots and punchlines, villains, scapegoats and plenty of identification potential. After all, a diary is like a good ham: left to mature for a while, it gains in maturity. And with a few years' distance, it can be really enjoyed.
At the annual "Best of" on the big stage, experienced, hard-boiled diary slammers from Hamburg and Berlin will read from their early pubescent works: whether classic diaries, love letters or song lyrics - everything that originates from one's own youth, is intimate and should never, ever be read out in public, is allowed.
Let yourself be enchanted by the anguish of the soul and the elation, the vows of love and the suicidal thoughts of complete strangers, experience a collective short trip back to your own teenage years! And at the end, the audience chooses the slam champion of the evening.
