In the organizer's words:

Best of Poetry Slam is the Champions League of the most popular literary format of our time and has long been an integral part of the Volkstheater program as well as a fixed date for all slam fans.

This is where you can see slam legends and the most exciting new stars of the scene, where dozens of championship titles and hundreds of slam victories come together on one stage. In a top-class battle of poets, four of the most renowned slam poets or slam teams face each other and fight for the title.

This year's participants are:the German-speaking U20 champion JOHANNA BAUER (Düsseldorf), the reigning Swiss champion ANNIKA BIEDERMANN (Zurich), the finalist of the German-speaking championships DA WASTL (Graz) and the two-time German-speaking champions in the team competition WORTWIN & SLAMSON (Ortwin Bader-Iskraut and Jonas Samson, Berlin).

The evening will be rounded off by Munich singer/songwriter KILIAN UNGER
