OILILIO – Your Local Bar! presents, in collaboration with The.Emotional.Zone and MusicConnectsAll, www.cafe-schwarz.tv, and Rausgegangen.de—live and open-air (indoors if the weather’s bad, of course!) from 8 to 10 p.m., though… the end of the concert will largely be decided by the audience!

KOLIBRINA

Kolibrina creates her versatile, moving compositions from inspirations she draws from life in all its facets: friends, nature, being in love, various stories, and fantasies. Everything that has ever impressed her or stirred her emotions flows into her music. She is equally versatile, multilingual, and cross-genre, as the Georgian-born artist blends Caucasian sounds from the coastal and mountainous regions of her hometown, Tbilisi, with the sounds and beats of a wide variety of musical cultures.

Percussion, guitar, and polyphonic vocals merge into a groovy loop, over which she lets her memorable voice run wild. Between highs and lows, with unexpected twists and accents, she creates new forms and a successful fusion of the moving and rhythmic with the flowing and gentle. In this process, she reveals something very familiar—something you already know, somewhere deep in your heart. 

A unique blend of singer-songwriter style, world music, folk-pop, soul, and a touch of jazz—in which you can lose yourself, find yourself again, or do both at once.” 

All concerts are “pass the hat” events, which means you, as a guest, decide what amount you consider appropriate and place it in the hat. There are no set rules—you alone decide. A little tip: Musicians create their works, rehearse, and come all the way here to perform! Musicians love the “spotlight,” and every contribution—just like you—is welcome! We accept cash or EC-Cash!
