The Kunsthallen volunteers invite you to a relaxed reading circle to explore the feeling of melancholy. Immerse yourself in texts and poems that illuminate this seductive theme of the mind. No previous knowledge necessary - just sign up and join in!

The Kunsthalle volunteers Joshua Pesch-Ulonska and Juliane Hoffmanns invite you to a reading circle against the backdrop of the exhibition ONLY LOVES LEFT. Margarete Jakschik and Friedrich Kunath to a reading circle.
Together we will approach the complex feeling of melancholy.
Selected texts and poems provide insights into the cultural history, playfulness and power of this strangely seductive state of mind.
We will begin by reading "Love and Melancholy" from Melancholia by László F. Földényi.
All are welcome, no previous knowledge is required. Participation on individual dates is just as possible as on all dates. The selected texts are in German. Please register at pesch@kunsthalle-duesseldorf.de. Registration closes two days before the start of each event.
