Chamber Remix Cologne presents: Beyond The Roots - LARGE ENSEMBLE.
This time the ensemble is led by Albrecht Maurer, who presents his compositions House of Syntopia and Mathilde.

Inspired by the artwork Sapiens - Sapiens by Igor Sacharoff-Ross, a syntopic sculpture in the form of a log cabin, these works were created in which sound colors from the Middle and Far East merge with elements of European art music. Spatially and intellectually separate elements meet in free spaces in which the participating musicians improvise and ornament their own languages in the context of the compositions. The concert itself is the place where musicians have the opportunity to build a common house and go beyond the boundaries of their own roots - Beyond The Roots.
