Boom Your Brains is the quiz event from the Cologne-based Funfusion collective—founded by us (Vera & Ute), two sisters from Cologne-Sülz. Just like with our Pocket Quizzes, the motto is: Brains come together. Your knowledge will be put through our twist generator! Combine, twist, decode, think outside the box, and on top of that: lots of laughter! Finally, a quiz with AHA! and HAHA!

Each Boom Your Brains volume features its own set of questions. With Gripsmix, you can expect completely different content, quiz games, and challenges than in our other volumes. Perfect for everyone who’s been there before—and, of course, for all newcomers.

🎤 DAD SINGS: You have to recognize songs sung by our dad and guest stars from the family—yes, really. Very funny!
🗞️ FAKE NEWS: Alternative facts with a twist! In a newspaper headline, someone has thoroughly distorted the facts in both text and image. Find the “fake news.”

👥 TICKETS & TEAMS
▪️Coming as a team? Easy: 2, 3, 4, or 5 people—any size works.
▪️Coming alone (or without a quiz crew)? Then grab a spot at the mixed table: It’s a mixed table for up to 4 people. Perfect if you’re new to town, no one’s available on short notice, or you just feel like meeting new people.
▪️There are also early-bird tickets—if you want to secure your spot, better grab them fast.

TIMES:Feel freeto arriveright at 6:30 PM and get ready to go with potato pancakes, Kölsch, and a beer garden atmosphere.

📍 LOCATION & ATMOSPHERE
The Brauhaus Reissdorf in the Keuchhof combines Cologne’s brewery culture with a beautiful beer garden in a historic courtyard. Under the open sky, with a cool Kölsch and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s a wonderful place to take a quiz. The perfect spot for a summer evening full of team spirit and plenty of “aha!” and “haha!” moments. ☔ Rain is no problem—the beer garden can be covered. We’d only move indoors if a full-blown Cologne storm hits. The quiz will go on no matter what.

🚗 GETTING THERE & PARKING
🚆 The nearest stop is Köln-Lövenich. From there, it’s only about an 8-minute walk to the Keuchhof. For example, you can get there in about 10 minutes from Cologne Central Station or in about 6 minutes from Cologne-Ehrenfeld on the S12 or S19.
🅿️ Parking is available nearby, e.g., at the St. Severin parking lot. 

🍽️ FOOD & DRINKS
If you come hungry, you’re doing everything right: Look forward to authentic brewery classics, freshly tapped drinks, and of course the popular Thursday as Reibekuchen Day.
▪️On Thursdays, we serve our popular potato pancakes—e.g., classic with apple compote, with smoked salmon, or with fresh beef tartare
▪️Cologne classics like Halve Hahn and Himmel un Ääd
▪️Schnitzel, meatballs, and plenty of fresh salads
