Biita is the new project by singer-songwriter Lisa Houdei, formerly known as LéPonds, based in L.A. She has already released four magnificent albums under this name, ranging from soulful indie to experimental folk—and now she’s on the road as Biita with her brand-new album *This Bed Was Made For Me* in tow.

Shaped by growing up in a multicultural family with Persian influences, Biita discovered music and singing at an early age—she chose the guitar as her instrument when she was young and learned to play in her own intuitive way, developing her own distinctive style. Biita’s songs are soulful, take unexpected turns, are intense and full of tension, dreamy, and heartwarming.
