Juliette Magnevasoa is a musician from Madagascar or perhaps from somewhere else-her music is a matter of course for her, in which she opens up her identity and her homeland to the world.
When she plays or composes, she is the glass & a fish swimming in it - whole & whole inside & yet at a distance - the music on the outside - to the others.... The guitar that nestles around her watertight body - a mysterious organic process. It is her journey, her exile, her anchoring - in blue ink - her way of being in the world.
She has been performing in France for 10 years, mainly solo or with the duo Paula & Juillette. She has been discovered & celebrated by personalities such as Francis Cabrel, Richard Bona, Gaby Moreno, Sian Potok and Sandra NKake!
In 2024, she met BlackJoy from the label Les Rythmes Ruban, which led to a first critically acclaimed single "La Playa" in collaboration with the famous producer Blundetto (Biga*Ranx, Aloe Blacc, Puppa Jim...).
Following "Guitare nouée sur corps étanche", she released "Routines" in July 2025, a collection of nine songs by artists who have influenced her throughout her life and who form part of her foundation. This project is also supported and produced by Les Rythmes Ruban.

French-Mauritanian artist, Aïssate mixes nomadic songs, humanity and commitment. Her universe is inspired by troubadours, travels and encounters. A unique voice, an instinctive poetry and a rare way of connecting worlds. She creates, shares and communicates with what she calls her army of humor and love.
Aïssate has performed all over France (North, South, East, West), in Belgium, Mauritania and Senegal. Her career is characterized by a wide variety of stages: Festivals, café concerts, social venues, cultural spaces and traveling concerts.
She has worked with a wide variety of artists, including Bernard Brand (bassist), Papa Mbaye (percussion), MC Shepa and Tiburce Antoine & Yahyaoui Yannick.
Their artistic and social commitment includes the following projects:
Eden Madja Tan - song & clip (filmed in Senegal and Mauritania, 2016-2017), Autour d'Ailes - nomadic and solidarity festival (8th edition 2025), Chanson du Monde - association founded in 2007, promoter of her artistic and social projects.
Their social commitment to greater humanity is reflected in a large number of social projects:
2015 meeting and exchange event in Jamaica (Ken Boothe, Sister Carol) winter aid for the homeless in France, free concerts in refugee shelters, outreach in schools, prisons, etc.
She is currently preparing the Thillot-Fuuta Tour 2, an artistic journey that will link Le Thillot (Vosges) to Mauritania in August 2026. This project is a musical and human journey between Europe and West Africa. The idea is simple: meet the public, share music and build bridges between the regions.
