Pino the squirrel receives a letter: a birthday invitation from his grandma! He is delighted, but his grandma lives in a big, strange city. The journey there is far too dangerous. What could possibly go wrong? It's better for him to stay in the forest, where he knows his way around. But his friend, Lela the swallow, accompanies him. Together they overcome all the challenges: a river, a mountain, a big road. Pino proudly arrives at his grandma's house with Lela. And she is overjoyed that Pino has come.
