BILDKÖRPER

Two artistic approaches come together in a shared space. The exhibition *BILDKÖRPER* marks the first time that Karolin Schumann’s series *Aufrichtung* and Karin Gerwien’s sculptures have been presented together. 

The paper “BILDKÖRPER” are juxtaposed with sculptural forms created from recycled materials. Inspired by organic structures and natural growth processes, Karin Gerwien develops distinctive sculptural works in which material, form, and history merge into a new unity.

Two artistic approaches. Two materials. Two styles. In this shared space, they become BILDKÖRPER.
