Snarky Puppy founder, multi-instrumentalist and Grammy winner Michael League dreams of an imaginary place full of beauty, peace and power together with Cossover piano icon Bill Laurance.

"Where you wish you were" is the name of their first joint duo album, which was released on ACT in 2023 and will finally be performed live in Berlin on March 1, 2024.

Its protagonists surprise, as an alternative to the stadium-filling Snarky Puppy spectacle, with an intimate, atmospheric, melody-driven dialog.

The Spaniard-by-choice and North Africa enthusiast Michael League paints colorful musical landscapes on oud & bass.

Bill Laurance, particularly known for his dense walls of sound on keyboards and synthesizers, transfers their sound palette to the world of the acoustic piano. Musical escapism, world jazz 2.0 and an invitation to a place where we wish we were.
