The career of rap MC and lyricist Billa Joe is still young, but it has already taken off. The member of the Scorpion Gang around the Mönchengladbach rap star Summer Cem has already collected several million clicks on the streaming platforms for four of his songs, above all the single "Paris", which brings it to over 6.5 million plays on Spotify alone. With the new single "Cool Down", Billa Joe has now launched a harbinger of his second mixtape "Pardon Me", which foreshadows great things to come. By the time of his German tour in mid-November, "Pardon Me" should be out; between November 15 and 19, Billa Joe will be performing live in Munich, Frankfurt, Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin. Not much is known about MC Billa Joe, who hails from Mönchengladbach. Billa Joe, whose real name is Billy-Joe Basaulua, first appeared as a member of the rap collective Scorpion Gang, which was founded by Summer Cem. Long before the first crew was formed, Summer Cem was already talking about Scorpion Gang. In a bonus track on his 2014 album "HAK," there was a first hint: "It's the Scorpion Gang and Summer is the king." He has held on to that name for a crew to this day. In the meantime, we also know exactly who is part of this crew - which also includes its own (record) label of the same name: In addition to Cem and Billa Joe, these are the rappers Kozikoza and Melez, as well as the producers Geenaro, Ghana Beats and Vogue. The label was introduced by Summer Cem in 2020. In 2021, he was featured on the label sampler "Scorpion to Society" with the other Scorpion Gang members. In 2022, his first mixtape "Traplife Balance" was released, which was widely acclaimed with its notable features such as Reezy, Luciano, KC Rebell, Nimo & Murda. Not least thanks to the excellent skills of Billa Joe, in which he combines anger and authenticity, streetlife and lifestyle. Successful singles like "Ice Cubes", "Inner Peace" or "Dollars & Isyans", all of which count many millions of streams on the music platform, were the basis of his steadily growing success. With "Pardon Me" the next highlight of his young career is coming soon. - Trap Live Balance
