Colorful, nuanced and contemporary perspectives on House from three unique selectors: Dixon, Rosa Red and Virginia.

Variety has always been one of Dixon's calling cards. Maybe an essential trait for a House DJ honing his name in a scene mostly associated with Techno, right? Steffen Berkhahn aka Dixon, at times called > master of the pop-house < honed his craft in the wild Berlin of the 90ies - he went on to leave a substantial mark on House and dance music with his (re)mixes, the influential Innervisions imprint and his wide-ranging approach to dance music that includes fashion and interdisciplinary, multimedia formats, too. Fast-forward to 2024 and he's still one of the scene's biggest names, because: he's interested in the future rather than cementing the, or better, his own past. While he could easily lean on his past achievements, he's more interested in steadily developing his projects and selections. Yet his kaleidoscopic and soft-hued handling of colors and moods in his selections remain - great DJs are those with unique and trademark perspectives!
Our good friend and regular guest Virginia is another one of those DJs with a style that's instantly recognizable: it's a warm and soulful take on House, Electro and Techno. And it's truly multidimensional, not just thanks to her spontaneous use of live vocals. A (live-)musician at heart that knows how to layer various musical approaches, there are few artists that have seized the balance and contrast between organic and synthetic, stylized and authentic in music and her DJ sets.
One of the very few others is in fact Munich-born Rosa Red. She plays euphoric grooves from House, Breakbeat and Rave in a wide range of bright and luminous, not bold and blinding textures. She's another personality rooted in (underground) live music and her profession in graphic design helps her to paint vivid and engrossing sets through out-of-the-box perspectives that are brimming with curiosity about the all the details that make dance music so great.

Diversity has always been one of Dixon's trademarks - perhaps an indispensable quality for a house DJ who took his first steps in the techno-inspired Berlin of the 90s? But that's exactly where Stefan Berghain aka Dixon, who is sometimes referred to as the > Master of Pop-House <, learned and developed his craft. Today, he is one of the most influential figures in the scene and has made a name for himself with his countless (re)mixes, the Innervisions label and its far-reaching approach to dance music culture, which ranges from fashion to interdisciplinary and multimedia approaches. He will remain relevant in 2024, as his interest remains focused on the future - and, like few others, he could simply take care of his own legacy. He continues to develop his projects and sets, which are as diverse and exciting as ever, while his characteristically colorful, pastel touch remains unmistakable.

Virginia is a good friend of the house (as well as the House!) and a regular in our Booth. Her unmistakably warm and soulful approach to house, electro and techno always provides moments of happiness on the dancefloor. She is a (live) musician at heart who plays colorful sets and knows how to mix and creatively combine acoustic tones. Organic and synthetic, authentic and stylized: even contrasts come together in Virginia's sets. You don't experience something like this every day!
One of the few others is the (unfortunately ex-)Munich native Rosa Red, who paints soundscapes in the brightest and most vibrant colors with euphoric house, breakbeat and rave grooves. The iconography of her underground roots and her work as a graphic designer can be found in each of her captivating sets, unconventionally, with attention to detail and with lots of red.
