Fi Amal – Fundraiser for Palestine; Art Bazaar, Workshops, Foods & Drinks, Live music, DJ Sets and more

In the organizer's words:

Fi Amal - في أمل

A cultural initiative is forming in the heart of Munich in response to the catastrophic situation in the Gaza Strip. Young artists from different cultural backgrounds are coming together to support affected families with a fundraising event and at the same time make the creative diversity of their community visible.

Art meets activism: the multidisciplinary event creates space for exchange, solidarity and young talent. Between political concerns and cultural encounters, a place is created that connects rather than divides.

During the day, a bazaar with art, food and workshops invites visitors to explore. After sunset, the atmosphere turns into an energetic night with live sets and DJs. This is no ordinary event, but a moment of collective strength, resilience and lived solidarity.

All proceeds will be collected and donated to the Palestinian Community Munich. The funds will be used to provide basic relief supplies such as food, clean water, medical care and other much-needed humanitarian support for families in Gaza.

Artists

Tarab (طرب) - a heightened state of being triggered by a connection to music - is a Palestinian interculturalist and DJ. Moving between different cultures and communities, she creates spaces where people from different backgrounds come together and connect through sound. Tarab builds dancefloors that are charged with collective energy. Her sets, spanning techno, grooves and hard grooves, invite bodies to immerse themselves in rhythm and shared experience, where connection reverberates long into the night.

Baladi (بلدي) is an ensemble in which Palestinian folk music meets Arabic jazz, creating a sound that is both rooted and evolving. Their music expresses solidarity with the Palestinian people and takes a clear stand against oppression. Founded from the diverse backgrounds of its musicians, Baladi stands for cultural exchange and cohesion - bringing different influences into a common musical language.

Said (سعيد) is a Tunisian DJ with a musical palette that transcends genres, borders and languages. His passion for underground, tech-driven grooves, raw breakbeats and booming techno forms the foundation of his energetic sets. Incorporating his diverse selection into his mixes, he orchestrates a unique sound that will keep you captivated until the end.

no exit free voice (نو إكست فري فويس) explores the boundaries between human and machine perception through spatial and temporal systems. Using field recordings, synthetic voices and micro-sound-time scale materials, he constructs environments that are both reactive and unstable. Gen explores how affect, control and identity are mediated through digital interfaces and uses audiovisual processes to visualize subtle states of alienation, orientation and resonance between bodies and machines.

Esther Abdelghani (استر عبد الغني) is a Palestinian-German multimedia artist and stage designer based in Munich and currently a student at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich. Her work has evolved from stage and costume design to time-based, site-specific formats, influenced by her background in dance and her interest in sound and research. Through performances such as Adapt and Can You Take? (2022), she explores the relationship between body, space and discourse. Her more recent works, including Memoryspacetime (2023) and PareidolAI (2024), integrate interactive elements and focus on cognition and computation.

DJ SHOOTING (دجي شوتينج) from Taiwan and co-founder of Vexed Grooves based in Munich, Germany. She invites you on a sensual journey, characterized by deep, dark and driving sound elements. Her sound is meant to awaken the quiet courage we all need to shape our lives. Immerse yourself in her curated world of sound and catch the waves that resonate with you. "May my sound move you," she says.

Coco Hope (كوكو هوب) grew up in Berlin and Munich with German-Nigerian roots and was exposed to a variety of subcultures at an early age, which has shaped her ability to combine different genres of electronic and non-electronic music. As part of the club culture, she focuses on techno, house, tech house and acid house. Her closing set will end the party on a high.

netslug (نيتسلوج) is a composer and DJ from Munich. Her sets deliver dark, driving electronic music for late night intensity. netslug electrifies audiences by combining industrial sounds with bouncy NXC and trance elements that remain unpredictable yet mesmerizing.

marvin_phase (مارفين_فايز) is a Munich-based artist who moves between atmospheric techno and ambient textures in live performances. Using a modular Eurorack system, he creates hypnotic soundscapes with a distinctly romantic flavor.

Kiawash [Orbital Reflector] (كياواش) is a Munich-based DJ, promoter and sound artist who has been contributing to the local music scene since 2017. As co-founder of the collective Orbital Reflector, he curates, promotes and produces off-the-grid events. Kiawash has played at venues such as Blitz (Munich), Jaki (Cologne) and Salon des Amateurs (Düsseldorf). His record collection includes house, techno and experimental music, while his selections often show his preference for unusual production approaches.

Sleman (سليمان) is a writer and music curator from the Naqab, Palestine. Influenced by the underground scene in Jaffa, where he organized queer and Palestinian parties, his sound combines noise, post-industrial textures, breaks and traditional Arabic music.

Mnfique (مانيفيك), inspired by the vibrant atmosphere of Tunis, brought his passion for electronic music to Munich. Combining driving electro energy with the vibrant power of electro house, his sets reflect versatility and precision. Adaptable by nature, Mnfique shapes each performance with a deep sense of sound, space and connection.
