From Sketch to Stamp

In this workshop you will learn how to make your own stamps from carving rubber and use them to print your first block prints. You will be given a plate (10 × 15 cm) from which you can carve either one large or several small stamps. You can bring your own designs or choose from our templates - together we will prepare them so that they are easy to carve and print.

Step by step, we will show you how to transfer the motif, use the carving tools safely and ink your stamps with bright colors. Then it's time to print: you try out different papers, patterns and layouts to create your very own cards, prints or gift tags.

At the end, you will not only take home your hand-carved stamps and a selection of your prints, but also lots of ideas on how you can continue working with them - because once you start stamping, you won't stop any time soon.

But be careful: stamp carving and printing is addictive ;-)

What is included

• All materials included: High-quality materials, including rubber carving board (10x15cm), paints, papers and tools.

• Various templates: You can choose your own motif from a range of templates.

• Do you already have a motif of your choice? If so, please bring your own design with you.

Good to know

• No previous knowledge necessary: Ideal for beginners - you will be guided step by step.

• Artwork to take home: You can take your stamps and prints home with you straight after the course.

• On the way home: Please bring a suitable bag for your work to keep it safe.

• Course language: The workshop will be held in German. Please speak to our course leader if you would like the instructions in English.

• Location: When booking, pay attention to the address given for one of our two locations - you will also find it in your confirmation email.

• Aprons on site: If it gets colorful, we will of course protect you with aprons.

• Participation: The workshop is suitable for anyone aged 12 and over.
