Greg Copeland is a bluesman par excellence. Born in Virginia, he now lives in Hameln and began his career as a singer after serving in the U.S. Air Force. His touring has taken him to stages across Europe. Together with him, the Bluescats have developed a program that traces the soul of the blues.
The starting point of this journey is Greg Copeland’s deep, resonant voice. He has been strongly influenced by artists such as James Brown, Wilson Pickett, and Robert Johnson, who helped him develop his own unique vocal style. When he enters the room, his presence alone is impressive; but the moment he sings the first note, you immediately feel transported back to the 1960s, when blues and soul dominated the charts together.

Jens Filser (guitar, vocals) has toured with Anne Haigis, Brenda Boykin, and Supercharge, and has shared his expertise as a workshop author for Acoustic Player. With his deep blues feel, he brings the classic sound to the stage.

Mickey Neher (drums) is a founding member of the Club des Belugas and has worked with artists such as Chris Farlowe and Gene Conners. His groove and experience give the trio the energy and depth it needs.

Till Brandt (bass, vocals) is the leader of Get The Cat and, with his powerful bass playing and harmonies, brings a special musical finesse and a touch of the blues to the band.
