Body-Mind-Centering®

In the organizer's words:

An enjoyable journey of movement to our beginnings
with Uta Büchler

In this seminar, we playfully and mindfully explore our own development from prenatal life to walking upright. Through movement we open ourselves to more inner stability, vitality and connection to ourselves and our environment.

Seminar description

From origin to the present - a journey through development

To be stable and grounded, yet relaxed and free in body and mind - that is what many of us want. We want to open ourselves to these qualities on a journey to the beginning of our lives.

Through movement, we explore our fascinating development from the swimming single-celled organism in the womb to the walking and dancing human being in the world. In a very individual way - awake, playful and relaxed - we curiously explore our relationship to gravity, to our own center and to our surroundings. This can reveal important inner themes: the desire to merge, the ability to set boundaries and perceive our own needs, to make contact, to find our own identity and much more.

Movement as a gateway to inner balance

We all began our lives in the fluid, supportive environment of the uterus. We have developed from lying and conceiving babies to adults with an upright gait and a wide range of action. How we moved in these very early phases of life has profoundly shaped our nervous system and thus the way we feel in our bodies today, how we move, but also how we perceive, feel, think and act.

Through movement, we can make up to a certain extent for the developmental phases in which we did not have such favorable conditions, even as adults, and thus positively influence all levels of our being: The body can move more freely and in a more integrated way, the senses can become more alert and our perception wider. Even our mind can become more flexible, balanced and responsive.

Who this movement journey is suitable for

All people who are curious to support their physical, emotional and mental balance and vitality are invited to this movement journey - either for themselves personally or in their therapeutic, educational, medical or creative work with people.
