With "Body, Nobody, Everybody", the INTERMESH Collective is continuing the exhibition series it has begun and is once again devoting itself to the body as a place of perception, boundaries and change. The second exhibition will take place from July 3 to 5 and will be accompanied by participatory actions in the public space that question the bridge between social structures and the body.
The exhibition brings together the works of 9 artists who question how we orient ourselves in our own bodies, in space and in relation to the world. Processes of localization are a recurring motif throughout the works. Bodies appear simultaneously vulnerable and protected, limited and transgressible.
In metamorphoses and shifts, they become visible as changeable systems - all the way to cellular structures and inner landscapes. Between separation and symbiosis, the participating artists examine the tension between the individual and the collective. The fragile boundary between collective memory and individual nostalgia also comes into view.
The exhibition sees itself as an open process and invites visitors to rethink perception, belonging and their own positions in the structure of body and environment.
