BRASS AGAINST

Brass Against are a force of nature. They are rousing, strong and passionate. Already in 2022 the audience couldn't get enough, which was proven by the numerous sold out shows in Germany. This year they will also cause a stir with four shows in Germany. Brass Against are critical, loud and hit the zeitgeist. In 2017, Brad Hammonds felt the undeniable need for politically charged music that stirs people and calls them to action. In the summer of that year, Hammonds met Andrew Gutauskas. Together they played some songs by Rage Against Machine, and a few phone calls later Brass Against formed. A collective of wind instruments that reinterprets the socially critical songs of musical greats like Tool, the Fugees, Public Enemy and, of course, Rage Against The Machine, writes its own captivating songs and, with the presence of singer Sophia Urista, creates a breathtaking atmosphere on the stages of this world. None other than Tool was so convinced of this in 2022 that Brass Against unceremoniously invited them to join their own tour as special guests. This year, on their four shows in Germany, they show anew that "Brass Protest Music" carries away, stirs up and inspires. -
