California-born singer/songwriter BRETT YOUNG is one of only four modern country artists whose first seven singles all reached number one in the charts. Thanks to several successful albums with his unmistakable romantic touch, he has been able to expand his status as a "master of hearts" worldwide. After YOUNG had to give up his promising baseball career due to a serious injury, he concentrated on music. At first he struggled with small gigs in bars and restaurants. After moving to Nashville and signing a record deal with the Big Machine Label Group, his career took off.

He finally made his breakthrough in 2016 with the single "Sleep Without You". The song reached the top 3 in the country charts and firmly anchored him in the scene. In 2017, his first, self-titled album "Brett Young" is released, which stays in the top 20 of the country album charts for 37 weeks, goes platinum and is streamed more than 6 billion times worldwide. This is followed by the album "Ticket To L.A.", which was awarded gold status and entered the Billboard Country Album Charts at No. 1. In 2018, he is crowned Songwriter Artist of the Year at the ASCAP Country Music Awards for his "melodic craftsmanship" (Billboard). That same year, he also won the New Male Artist of the Year category at the ACM Awards, while continuing to churn out hits as "one of the country scene's most consistent radio stars" (Rolling Stone).

His seventh studio album was released in August 2023. "Across The Sheets is by far the most adventurous thing I've ever done thematically and lyrically.
