Legendary guitarist Pat Martino was a big influence on Swedish-Norwegian guitarist Staffan William-Olsson, and when he met drummer Joris Dudli, who had recorded with Joel Frahm in New York in the early nineties and played with Pat Bianchi during the Frauenfeld Generations Jazzfestival, the idea was born to invite Joel and Pat - who were both in Pat Martino's band for years - for a PM tribute tour, playing his music as well as the standards he influenced.
