BRKN, fatter! The show. A lot has happened with BRKN. In 2021, after a three-year break, his third album"Drama" was released. His most successful album to date, on which he perfected his style: An opulent soundscape, emotional lyrics about separation and mental health, where tears can flow. The jack-of-all-trades presents the scene with a concept album that goes beyond rap and, according to Puls, becomes "your favorite musician's favorite musician." BRKN's real name is Andac Berkan Akbiyik and he was born in 1991 in Berlin-Kreuzberg. There he grew up in a Turkish-Armenian-Kurdish household. Early musical education is emphasized there, he learns piano and saxophone, begins to rap at the age of 12 and teaches himself to play the guitar as an autodidact. Early on, he wrote his own lyrics, his tracks and his style became recognizable, and he had long since made a name for himself in the scene. Sold out halls, own solo tours or makes collaborations with Herbert Grönemeyer. In 2023 he releases his latest EP "Rahat" (from the Turkish: calm). Stringent, the EP continues where the last album ends. BRKN continues to rap autobiographically about life, about his self-perception. Diverse sound, more faith in himself and find peace in the process: This EP manifests a new development in BRKN. After his tour in spring 2023 and a successful festival season, BRKN will be back on Germany's stages at the end of the year. The live latenight show "BRKN, fatter!
