In the organizer's words:
Under the guidance of master bookbinder Horst Schiffmann, you will learn how to rebind books from scratch (fabric, paper or half-fabric binding, thread stitching, adhesive binding). You can also repair or restore your old books professionally while preserving the original substance, e.g. book spines, book covers, paper defects. If you are interested, you will also make a one-piece slipcase for your books. You will work in a small group, so there will be time for individual problem solving.
The course is suitable for beginners and advanced students.
