What's it all about?

In this new series of events, we will be talking to personalities from different areas of public life - and discussing a topic that affects us all: money.

We are delighted to welcome astronaut and physicist Prof. Reinhold Ewald as a guest at the "Bundesbank meets space travel" event.

Professor Reinhold Ewald is a physicist and ESA astronaut. In 1997 he took part in the second German-Russian mission Mir'97. As a scientific astronaut, he spent 18 days on the Mir space station and carried out biomedical and materials science experiments. After his active astronaut career, he took on management and training tasks in European space travel and coordinated ISS missions, among other things. Ewald is a space ambassador for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
