After demonstrating their musical skills at the national Jugend Musiziert competition in Lübeck over Whitsun, the best young musicians from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia are presenting themselves today at the national prizewinners' concert in Cologne's Philharmonie. All of them are first prize winners of the 61st national Jugend Musiziert competition. In a varied program, they will play pieces from their competition programs. With organ, voice, piano, tuba, recorder, a marimba trio and two string octets and chamber music from various eras, the program has something for everyone.
The concert will be moderated by Nicolas Tribes.
