Open-air concert on the Bremerhaven summer stage

This year, the Federal Singing Competition is traveling to Bremerhaven with its "BW Gesang on Tour" format. Four successful candidates from the 2023 and 2024 competitions will perform on the summer stage in front of the municipal theater. In the open-air concert, the usual separation of the musical/chanson and opera/operetta/concert competition categories will be abolished, so that singers from all categories can be experienced in a joint cross-genre event. The audience can look forward to a varied program ranging from the classical repertoire to musical hits and chanson. Free admission, families are welcome.

The Bundeswettbewerb Gesang Berlin is held every year in the categories opera/operetta/concert and musical/chanson. The idea behind the "BW Gesang on Tour" format is the presentation and long-term promotion of talent beyond the annual competitions. In recent years, BW Gesang has already performed concerts in Osnabrück, Augsburg, Schwedt and Altenburg. The events are open, easily accessible offers for anyone who would like to get to know the musical diversity and high level of talent of the competition.
