Three philosophers meet and talk about what they could not say to each other because they lived at different times. They asked themselves similar questions, built on each other and yet came to very different conclusions. Three philosophers, represented by three humanities scholars from Leipzig and Kiel, debate the question:
What does it take for peace?
Never again war was the guiding principle of European unification over 75 years ago. Immanuel Kant wrote about the prerequisites for eternal peace at the end of the 18th century. In view of current world events, they have lost none of their relevance to this day. The call for peace is growing louder, but how can it be achieved?
In discussion: Heraclitus (Ken Kleemann), Augustine (Dr. Tobias Kasmann), Immanuel Kant (Prof. Dr. Kater)
Chair of the discussion: Katharina Schenk
