Café concert with Devin Heat

Devin Heat is the name of Bremen songwriter David Weingärtner, who grew up in a remote corner of northern Germany where there was little to see but the shifting horizon over the moor and how the days came and went. His childhood home attracted a bunch of musicians, truckers and broken hearts who gathered around campfires in the summer and told stories of signs and wonders. Finding himself after the death of his father, Weingärtner explored these stories that make up his debut album. Late 80s and early 90s releases by artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty and Lone Justice, with whom his father raised him and explained the world, served as inspiration for the sound.
