Maria Callas' debut at the Paris Opera in 1958 was a social event that was shown on TV throughout Europe. With a versatile gala performance, she showed the enormous range of her vocal and acting qualities - and was euphorically celebrated by fans and celebrities.
For the first time, the historic footage can be experienced completely in color, in 4K and Dolby Atmos. The meticulous restoration of picture and sound was done from the rediscovered original film reels and newly discovered sound sources from Maria Callas' private archive, allowing for an intense, unique cinematic experience.
