She was an icon of the 20th century. An absolutely exceptional artist, unrivaled to this day. And a diva par excellence. With a life as dramatic as an opera. Her unique singing and her passion fascinate people to this day: Maria Callas.

On December 2, she would have turned 100 years old.

This birthday will receive very great attention in the media. The wide coverage will reach many millions of people who know and love Maria Callas, and in addition will also arouse the curiosity of a new generation about this extraordinary woman.
The new cinema event "Callas - Paris, 1958" offers the unique opportunity to experience a performance by Callas as if you were there live yourself.
Maria Callas' debut at the Paris Opera in 1958 was a social event that was shown on TV throughout Europe. With a versatile gala performance, she showed the enormous range of her vocal and acting qualities - and was euphorically celebrated by fans and celebrities.
For the first time, the historic footage can be experienced completely in color, in 4K and Dolby Atmos. The meticulous restoration of picture and sound was done from the rediscovered original film reels and newly discovered sound sources from Maria Callas' private archive, allowing for an intense, unique cinematic experience.
The team that created the acclaimed documentary "Maria by Callas" also produced this film.
