Capoeira Training & Musik - Senzala Cologne

Capoeira is the perfect combination of martial arts and music!

Originating as an expression of Afro-Brazilian resistance and culture, the boundaries between playful fighting, dancing, acrobatics and music-making are fluid. It is an intensive training for your general fitness (strength & endurance), body control, flexibility and reflexes. Last but not least, the group also strengthens your ear, sense of rhythm and voice.

But most importantly: Capoeira is more than just fun, it triggers a deep sense of joy.

After registering by email, the first trial session for beginners is free of charge! Nevertheless, we are very happy about a donation.
Curious people at any level are welcome to join our group training at any time, regardless of origin, age, gender or appearance. You don't need to bring anything except sportswear (preferably long training pants). You can simply train barefoot or with clean indoor shoes (preferably with rubber soles).

Training times:
Thursdays 19h - 20h music, 20h - 21:30h training (in the hall of the Quäker Nachbarschaftsheim)
Saturdays 13h - 15h music & training (in the basement of the Quäker, entrance at the sports field)

In good weather, we may train outside in the area around the Quäker.
