Carmen Gala - spanische Nacht I das DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER in Nürnberg
In the organizer's words:
Georges Bizet’s opera *Carmen* is one of the most fascinating and most frequently performed works in the history of music.
Spanning four acts, the story of the freedom-loving Carmen unfolds, marked by intense emotions, dangerous love, and the gritty realities of life in Seville, Spain, around 1820. Our gala concert will transport you to a world full of passion, longing, and inescapable tragedy.
Look forward to a musical journey in which Bizet’s world-famous arias and striking melodies reveal their full expressive power.
The chamber ensemble of the DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER will perform with vocal soloists under the direction of Prof. Igor Malinovsky on violin. Since its founding in 2013, the Dresdner Residenz Orchester has been delighting audiences nationwide with its virtuoso ensemble playing and characterful interpretations in a chamber music setting.
The Small Hall at the Meistersingerhalle in Nuremberg features clean architecture and excellent acoustics. The use of warm wood and the first-class acoustics create a special atmosphere that is particularly well-suited for musical performances.
The Small Hall can be used independently of the rest of the building and has direct access.
