Große Klassiknacht - von Vivaldi bis Oper I Galaabend mit dem DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER in Nürnberg
In the organizer's words:
The DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER invites you to a special concert evening in the Great Hall of the Meistersingerhalle in Nuremberg—a night of classical music that brings together great masterpieces in a varied and entertaining program.
The focus is on well-known and beloved works of classical music that, in rapid succession, open up different sonic worlds: The famous first movement from Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 kicks off an evening full of energy and musical brilliance.
Antonio Vivaldi’s “Autumn” from The Four Seasons brings vibrant colors and virtuosic enthusiasm to the stage, while Tchaikovsky’s famous Flower Waltz from The Nutcracker lends an air of elegant lightness.
Powerful emotions unfold in the world of opera: In addition to the well-known barcarolle from Offenbach’s *The Tales of Hoffmann* and the impressive intermezzo from Mascagni’s *Cavalleria rusticana*, arias from world-famous operas such as *La Bohème* and *The Marriage of Figaro* will be performed by vocal soloists.
A special highlight of the evening is Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3, performed by a young soloist—a work full of expressiveness and virtuosity.
The result is a captivating classical gala featuring multiple soloists, great melodies, and impressive musical moments—lively, accessible, and full of musical diversity.
