Cat Ballou

2024 will be a very special year for Cat Ballou. Because even if the young age of the band members hardly suggests it, the band will have been on stage for 25 years.

What began in 1999 as a school band is now one of the top acts in the cathedral city. Up to 230 performances in the carnival season and also around 50 year-round performances and 25 full concerts throughout Germany and neighboring European countries are proof of the popularity of the "cats".

2024 this amazing anniversary is now to be celebrated with many actions from January to December. The focus will be on the big anniversary concert on October 4, 2024 in the LANXESS arena, where many surprises and companions await the group's loyal fans.

"After all, we were already allowed to play in the arena for our 20th birthday, which was an incredible experience," singer Oli Niesen looks back. "In the last five years, however, an incredible amount has happened again, we have developed enormously musically and as a band in a difficult time and we are looking forward enormously to this unique evening with quite a few friends." Which companions support the guys on stage is not yet revealed, but it is certain that this evening will be a very special one for all fans.

In addition to the concert, there will already be some surprises and special features to kick off the anniversary year in the carnival season. In addition, the band will present a new album in 2024 and play an anniversary tour in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. The celebrations will then be rounded off in December 2024 with the traditional Christmas concerts in the Thetaer am Dom.
