Chancengerechtigkeit durch Bildung: Erfahrungen zwischen zwei Welten
In the organizer's words:
An inspiring evening as part of Hamburg Sustainability Week: Philip Oprong Spenner takes you on a journey through his extraordinary life—from his childhood on the streets of Kenya to his current work as a teacher in Hamburg and founder of Kanduyi Children e.V., which awards scholarships for secondary school to young people in Kenya. Philip will also read from his book “Move on up.”
Together with him and the audience, we’ll explore the power of education: How does it create equal opportunities and foster participation? What works on the ground in Kenya—and what can the German education system learn from it?
Look forward to honest insights, global perspectives, and an open conversation where your questions and thoughts are welcome. Come by, listen, and join the conversation. 💜
