The Freiburg punk rock band Choked by Gum steadfastly follows its credo: “The world is bad, but life remains beautiful.” When the quartet, in its classic lineup, blasts out its songs—full of rage and despair over the state of the world and laced with clever wordplay—not a single eye remains dry.
