Join us on a musical journey in the heart of Hamburg, presented by Birdland, the legendary jazz and live music club. This special event takes place on board the Elbreederei Rainer Abicht and combines the best of the world of jazz with the charm of the Port of Hamburg.

During the 2.5-hour harbor cruise, you will be musically entertained by the young pianist, singer and composer Sophia Oster. She is undoubtedly one of the most promising musical newcomers and has already earned herself a worthy place in the jazz world. Her sonorous, warm voice combined with her special touch on the piano will make you sit up and take notice and create a captivating atmosphere in the room. This evening will be entirely in the spirit of the jazz tradition, to which the pianist and singer feels a great closeness and love. Emotionally sung ballads alongside deep-seated swing are reminiscent of the trio of the wonderful singer and pianist Shirley Horn, the music of Nat King Cole or Duke Ellington. A Christmas atmosphere with songs from the Great American Songbook will make this trip something very special. The young musician will be joined by multiple award-winning saxophonist Konstantin Herleinsberger, bassist Paul Imm from the USA, who has toured with jazz greats such as Lee Konitz and Rosemary Clooney, and the young Brazilian drummer Rafael Müller, who has made a name for himself on the jazz scene in a very short space of time.
