Claudia de la Torre launched the installative project The Questions Library in 2013 with the aim of collecting, classifying and displaying books whose titles are formulated as questions. For each version of the project, visitors are invited to donate a book with a question in its title and thus contribute to the expansion of the library's collection, which currently comprises around 550 titles.
Each question is followed by another question and the collection grows beyond the quixotic and self-referential through organizing categories, shelves and departments. The spines of the books enter into conversation with each other. The Questions Library becomes a place that poses the question of why we read and make books at all.
