Originally from the DIY hardcore scene, Coilguns have since developed their very own blend of punk and ecstatic noise rock. The band's history is closely linked to the development of guitarist Jona Nido's label - Humus Records - which now boasts up to 150 releases by Swiss artists from a wide variety of musical backgrounds. While their previous two albums were 100% self-produced, recorded and mixed, Coilguns traveled to the remote Oceansound Recordings in Norway in the summer of 2022 with producer Scott Evans to record their fourth studio album, which was subsequently mixed by Grammy-nominated producer Tom Dalgety. The band is known for their raw, uncompromising and euphoric live performances, delighting dancing freaks and crowdsurfing weirdos alike.
