COLOGNE COMEDY FESTIVAL: Poetry Slam Deluxe

Johannes Elster has been performing on stage since 2008 and can look back on over 1,500 appearances throughout the German-speaking world. Initially a slam poet with his own texts, he changed sides after a few years and, with over 750 moderated events, has become one of the most prominent and renowned slam moderators in Germany.
Johannes Elster organized the state poetry slam championships in Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria and Rhineland-Palatinate six times, as well as the "SLAM 2016 - Die deutschsprachigen Meisterschaften im Poetry Slam", the largest stage literature festival in Europe. He has hosted events at 30 different slam championships in Germany and Switzerland.
In addition to moderating poetry slams and PowerPoint karaoke series, he also regularly hosts galas, mixed shows and social or political events.
In 2022, he was once again honored by the German-speaking poetry slam scene with the "Slammy Award" as "Presenter of the Year".

Gina Walter, born and raised in the beautiful Basel region, has been making Swiss slam poetry stages unsafe since 2015. She proudly held the title of "U20 Swiss Champion 2017" for a year and then really took off. Since then, she has traveled to various places in the German-speaking world as a poet, presenter and workshop leader, hosted SLAMBasel at the Sommercasino and has twice reached the semi-finals for Switzerland at the German-speaking championships (Zurich 2018, Vienna 2022).

Valerio Moser invented the Trottoir. It must have been a few years ago. Shortly afterwards, in 2007, he started performing on stage. In the meantime, he has become multiple Swiss Poetry Slam Champion, Swiss Power Point Champion, won prizes at home and abroad, written full-length programs and published his first book in 2023. He is now packing up his favorite texts for Cologne and putting on a nice shirt.

Comedian Gregor Stäheli has been performing on poetry slam, cabaret and comedy stages throughout the German-speaking world since 2009. As a precise observer, he discovers the funny, absurd, grueling but also quiet sides of life and packs the best of it into his texts, performances and videos - often personal, mostly self-ironic, always eloquent.
