Punchlines against the patriarchy: Hamburg's queer-feminist stand-up comedy club SMASH COMEDY celebrates the female & queer comedians of the German stand-up scene. Here, five-eight professionals and newcomers pass on the mic, presented by Smash founder, musician and stand-up comedienne Schwessi from Hamburg.

The special feature: this stage belongs only to those who are extremely underrepresented in the scene dominated by white hetero cis men. Instead of giving a stage to dick jokes, "my girlfriend" jokes and racist clichés, we want to create visibility for the voices and realities of life that are otherwise only the target of these jokes.

With maximum fun and diversity power against discrimination! Be inspired, show solidarity and train your empathy muscles at SMASH COMEDY! And then laugh so loudly together that patriarchal structures quietly start to crumble...

As part of the Diversity Week, Smash Comedy will be coming to the University of Cologne on 03.07.2026. We look forward to welcoming Schwessi, Neo, Jasmin Kettana, Jana Goller and a surprise act to our lecture hall and to spending a funny evening with you.
