'Burt Meyer', an aging singer-songwriter, has been touring cabarets and open stage evenings, presenting and enchanting variety shows since 2022. In January 2025, he celebrated the premiere of his almost 80-minute solo program 'A lonesome Wolf in the Desert of the Dark'.As the prototype of a provincial rocker, he oscillates somewhere between being super cool and infinitely embarrassing. He is at home on the theater, show and festival stages. There he takes the audience into spheres that you really wouldn't have expected. One man, one guitar, one microphone, one stage - usually a bad idea - and Burt Meyer is the proof. Nobody knows for sure whether he will actually play a song this time, because "Burt Meyer loses himself in wonderfully abstruse announcements and Helge Schneider-like nonsense."
