Community Art Night: Collage & Glitter

Community Art Night is back!

It’s finally happening again on September 24: From September 2026 through April 2027, the Weserburg Project Space will once again become an open workshop once a month for collaborative creation, exchange, and experimentation.

This Community Art Night is all about (re)mixing: Inspired by the exhibition “Anys Reimann: Mirrorball,” you can create your own collages and disco balls together with artist Claudia A. Cruz. Try out different techniques and then take your artwork home with you right away. No prior experience is necessary.

DJ .Umi from Bremen will provide the perfect soundtrack with a DJ set in the project space.

In addition, Fikri Anıl Altıntaş will read from his new children’s nonfiction book *30 Real Boys – Brave, Emotional, and Completely Themselves* (Hanser, 2026) for audiences of all ages. The book focuses on the writer and activist James Baldwin.

Curator Ingo Clauß and Virginie Kamche from Afrika Netzwerk Bremen will lead a tour of the exhibition *Anys Reimann: Mirrorball* in German and French. Between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m., you can also visit all of the Weserburg’s current exhibitions.
